Solar control: Your home is one of the most important purchases you will make in your lifetime. Therefore, it's essential that your home gets the attention it deserves, to ensure a comfortable and safe environment.

Many people are still unaware that the suns harmful UV rays can damage their carpets and soft furnishings, even fading wooden floors, artwork and precious photographs. As good summers aren't always guaranteed in Ireland, many of us choose to add a conservatory to our homes, where we can enjoy the ambience of the garden while still protected from chilly days we experience.

Unfortunately such an expanse of glass can mean that the room can overheat and what was designed as a room with a view for relaxing in on those summer evenings can become an uncomfortable hot house that is barely used at all.

All these Solar problems can be easily addressed with the application of our UV solar control window films. We offer a variety of micro thin films supplied by Johnson Window Films which is permanently applied to the inside of the windows. Each film comes in your choice of shade and degree of visible light transmission, allowing you to choose a window film with suitable heat rejection qualities whilst at the same time enhancing the appearance of the exterior.

The DN (Daylight Natural) films are neutral in colour and provide maximum light.
The SB (Sunset Bronze) offers a greater degree of control and has that warm bronze look associated with expensive tinted glass The SS (Solar Silver)
